United Human Coin Introduction (Research Stage Version)

Human Coin: Exploring New Possibilities for Humanitarian-Oriented Global Digital Finance

Driven by the dual forces of digitalization and global financial inclusion needs, United Human is conducting research on Human Coin. This project draws inspiration from the core innovative concepts of World Coin, aiming to explore a cryptocurrency system based on “human identity verification” that serves humanitarian needs. Currently, we are in the critical stage of technical framework design and feasibility research.

I. Research Background and Core Objectives

Why Explore Human Coin?

Billions of people worldwide still face financial service exclusion, especially in disaster-prone or economically vulnerable regions where traditional financial systems struggle to quickly reach groups in need of assistance. Meanwhile, the rapid development of AI technology has created a demand for “digital identity verification” — how to ensure that “humans” in the digital world are real people, thereby guaranteeing that resources (such as aid funds and basic services) can be precisely matched to real needs has become an urgent problem to solve.

The core research objective of Human Coin is to integrate “cryptocurrency” with “real human identity verification,” providing secure and accessible digital financial tools for global populations (especially vulnerable groups) in the future, while providing efficient and transparent technical support for United Human’s humanitarian actions (such as Human Fund aid distribution and universal basic income exploration).

II. Core Design Philosophy (Research Direction)

Currently, the team is advancing research in the following key directions around the three principles of “secure verification, inclusive finance, and humanitarian adaptation.” Some concepts draw from World Coin’s practical experience and are optimized for humanitarian scenarios:

Real Human Identity Verification Mechanism

Research borrows from “biometric identification” technology logic (similar to World Coin’s Orb iris scanning), exploring low-cost, easy-to-operate identity verification solutions: We plan to collect users’ unique biometric features (such as iris, fingerprints) through specialized devices (currently in the technical selection stage), generating unique “human identity markers” to ensure each Human Coin account corresponds to a real human, avoiding AI or fake accounts from occupying resources, laying the foundation for subsequent precise assistance.

Cryptocurrency and Financial Function Design

The research stage focuses on “lightweight, low-threshold” monetary attributes:

  • Future Human Coin can serve as a decentralized cryptocurrency, supporting low-cost transfers globally (especially suitable for cross-border humanitarian aid fund disbursement);
  • Exploring “daily payment + aid reception” dual functions, both convenient for users to exchange goods or services at local merchants and enabling disaster-affected populations to quickly receive Human Fund assistance tokens, reducing intermediate losses;
  • Currently researching cryptocurrency regulatory policies in different regions (such as EU MiCA regulations, Southeast Asian market standards) to ensure future implementation complies with local legal requirements.

Humanitarian Scenario Adaptation

Distinguished from ordinary cryptocurrencies, one of Human Coin’s research focuses is “deep integration with rescue operations”:

  • Designing “disaster emergency mode”: In future disasters, Human Coin assistance can be automatically distributed to verified users in affected areas through smart contracts without manual review, improving response speed;
  • Exploring “Universal Basic Income (UBI) pilot”: For long-term impoverished areas, researching regular distribution of basic tokens to local residents through Human Coin to help meet basic living needs while connecting with local industries to promote token use in local economic circulation.

III. Current Research Progress

  • Technical Research Phase: Completed comparative analysis of global mainstream cryptocurrency technical frameworks (such as blockchain selection, consensus mechanisms), preliminarily determined technical directions suitable for humanitarian scenarios;
  • Policy and Compliance Research: Compiled cryptocurrency regulatory requirements from 20+ countries/regions, forming the “Human Coin Regional Compliance White Paper (Draft)” to avoid policy risks for future implementation;
  • User Demand Research: Conducted small-scale interviews in potential pilot regions such as Southeast Asia and Africa, collecting local populations’ acceptance and usage pain points regarding digital identity and cryptocurrency to optimize design solutions;
  • Partner Engagement: Currently communicating with biometric device manufacturers, blockchain technology teams, and humanitarian organizations to explore possibilities for technical cooperation and resource integration, providing support for subsequent R&D.

IV. Future Value and Participation Methods

Future Core Value

If research is implemented, Human Coin could become:

  • A “connector” for global inclusive finance: Providing basic digital financial tools for the unbanked population;
  • An “accelerator” for humanitarian aid: Achieving “point-to-point” direct delivery of aid funds to beneficiaries, improving efficiency and transparency;
  • A “guarantee token” for real human rights: Ensuring resources flow to real needs through identity verification, promoting “human-centered” digital economic development.

Research Stage Participation Channels

Although the project is currently in the research phase, we welcome participation from all parties in co-construction:

  • Technical Cooperation: If you are a technical team in blockchain or biometric identification fields, you can contact us through our official website to jointly explore technical solution optimization;
  • Feedback: Experts and the public focusing on humanitarian or cryptocurrency fields can share suggestions on Human Coin design (such as identity verification security, usage scenario needs) via email ([email protected]);
  • Pilot Intention Registration: If you are a public welfare organization, local merchant, or community representative from disaster-affected areas, you can register your intention to participate in future pilots, helping us better adapt to actual scenarios.

We will regularly update Human Coin research progress through the United Human official website, and look forward to working with partners who focus on “technology + humanity” to bring more possibilities for global vulnerable groups through digital finance.
